ESL: Intensive English

NCA's English as a Second Language class is a foundations program available to students who are at the beginner stage with their English skills. Our 6 comprehensive levels of ESL means students are able to enroll in a level that is suited to their current understanding of the language. The classes are grouped into the following categories:

  • Elementary
  • Beginner
  • Intermediate
  • High Intermediate

The main objective of this course is to allow for a smoother entry into NCA's more advanced classes such as iBT TOEFL, Business Media and Culture, and teacher training courses. It is a comprehensive program with a focus on grammar, reading/writing, communication skills and vocabulary building within a Canadian context.
